3 Day Learning Mentor Training

This course will develop the skills and knowledge of those adults working with children at risk of not achieving their full potential.

Delegates will learn how to -

• Use a learning mentoring structured approach to support the varied needs of children that prohibit their engagement and achievement

• Identify and support children's needs and strengths, 

• Support children one to one and in groups

• Work with families and other practitioners

• Review and evaluate the impact of interventions.  

This course is ideal for those with some experience of working with children and young people.
