Supporting Challenging Behaviour

Working with children & young people to support their behaviour change

This course aims to help delegates understand, recognise and develop strategies to support challenging behaviour.  Delegates will also explore their own perceptions of challenging behaviour.


The course content includes:
•    What is challenging behaviour?
•    Skills assessment
•    Self-awareness behaviour analysis
•    Red flags – negative behaviour triggers
•    Behaviour modification strategies


Target Audience: Adults working with children and young people to support their behaviour such as primary and secondary Learning Mentors, Behaviour Mentors, HLTA’s, TA’s.


This training is delivered via Zoom.  The cost is negotiable for bookings  of 4 or more delegates from the same setting. 

This training can also be delivered in your own setting at a date and time of your convenience for groups of 6 or more delegates.  Feel free to contact us to discuss.
