Gang Awareness

Course Aims:

Provide students with a definition and understanding of a gang and deter them from becoming involved in gangs.

Course Content:
The students will explore and learn:
•    The difference between groups and gangs
•    The reasons why people join gangs
•    The risks and consequences of being in a gang
•    What is Joint enterprise?

Training Delivery:  Workshops will include – discussion, practical & physical activities, individual & group work and use of multimedia.

Cost:
The cost is based on two group workshop per morning or afternoon for 6 weeks and can accommodate small groups or whole class. The workshop is delivered in school at an agreed date and time.
