Adult Training

Our training opportunities will enhance the skills and knowledge of those working with childrens social, emotional, wellbeing and learning to provide positive outcomes for children and young people.

Learning Mentor Training

This course will enable Learning Mentors and those aspiring to become Learning Mentors to gain the necessary skills and knowledge to support children and young people to overcoming their barriers to learning and achieve their full potential.

Supporting Challenging Behaviour

This course will help delegates to understand, recognise and develop strategies to support challenging behaviour. Delegates will also explore their own perceptions of challenging behaviour.

Creating Positive Break & Playtimes

This training will enable delegates to gain an understanding of the importance of playground structure and the role of staff engagement with pupils.  Delegates will also widen their ideas on playground and lunchtime activities as well as an understanding of the wider value of their role, develop emotional literacy, communication and conflict resolution skills.

Conflict Resolution Training

This training will enable delegates to recognise conflict and learn new strategies to manage conflict within their setting whether it is between adults, or young people.

Engaging & Building Positive Relationships with Parents & Carers

This course will empower delegates to improve communication with parents and carers and encourage their active involvement with their school. Delegates will learn how to gain a greater awareness of their parents needs and barriers to engagement and develop ways to support and encourage open and honest dialogue.

Developing Emotional Literacy to Enhance Positive Behaviour

Delegates will understand what Emotional Literacy is and how it can be used to enhance positive behaviour in pupils

Midday Meals Supervisors Training

This training will enable delegates to develop their understanding  and value of playground structure and the role of adult engagement with children. Delegates will widen their ideas on playground, lunchtime and wet play activities. They will develop their knowledge on how to support children's emotional literacy, communication and conflict resolution.

3 Day Learning Mentor Training

This course will develop the skills and knowledge of those adults working with children at risk of not achieving their full potential. Delegates will learn how to use a structured approach to learning mentoring, support children experiencing conflict, work with children one to one and in groups as well as work with families and other practitioners.
This course is ideal for those with some experience of working with children and young people. Delegates will learn how to use mentoring as a structured approach to engage with children and young people, gain an understanding of their needs and know how to effect positive change.
