New 5 Day Learning Mentor Training

Welcome to our 5-day Learning Mentor training program!

This comprehensive course is designed to equip participants with a solid understanding of the Learning Mentor role. You will acquire essential knowledge and skills to effectively support children and young people in overcoming challenges that hinder their learning and engagement Join us to make a positive impact on the lives of those you mentor!

Supporting the wellbeing, behaviour & achievement of children & young people

Join our comprehensive Learning Mentor training designed to enhance your mentoring skills over five engaging Zoom sessions.

Participants will learn to work in a principled, person-centered manner, facilitating one to one and group interventions that support children's social, emotional, well-being, and behavioral needs. You'll gain insights into safeguarding, apply developmental theories, and build effective relationships with children and families as well as know how to set up and run a structured Learning Mentor provision.

The training days are from 9an - 4pm via Zoom:

Training Dates:

Day 1 - Thursday 30th January 2025
Day 2 - Thursday 13th February 2025
Day 3 - Thursday 27th February 2025
Day 4 - Thursday 13th March 2025
Day 5 - Thursday 27th March 2025

The cost is just £450 per person

Participants who wish to complete the Induction element of the course will need to compile a portfolio of work-based activities demonstrate their mentoring practice. They will have two terms after the training days to finalize and submit their evidence. A certificate of attendance will be awarded to those who attend the training days and successfully complete their portfolio.
