Engaging and building positive relationships with parents/carers

The course will empower delegates to:  
•    Improve communication with parents/carers
•    Get parents/carers more actively involved in school
•    Engage detached, difficult & under-confident parent/carers
•    Gauge parent/carers thoughts and acting on their views
•    Enable delegates to develop a greater awareness of the needs of their parent/carers and ways to support and encourage open and honest dialogue.

•    How to engage and welcome parents/carers
•    Programme of study for parent/carers
•    Strengthening trust, participation in their child’s learning and positive relationships with staff
•    Managing Conflict with parents & carers
