Service Description

The course will empower delegates to: • Improve communication with parents/carers • Get parents/carers more actively involved in school • Engage detached, difficult & under-confident parent/carers • Gauge parent/carers thoughts and acting on their views • Enable delegates to develop a greater awareness of the needs of their parent/carers and ways to support and encourage open and honest dialogue. Course Content: • How to engage and welcome parents/carers • Programme of study for parent/carers • Strengthening trust, participation in their child’s learning and positive relationships with staff • Managing Conflict with parents & carers This course can be delivered in your school at a date/time of your convenience.

Cancellation Policy

• Making an application does not automatically guarantee a place. Notification will be sent out within two weeks to confirm whether or not an application has been successful. • Cancellations require a minimum of 7 days’ notice, otherwise the full fee will be payable. No refunds can be made for applicants who fail to attend the entire course.
