Service Description

This course will enable young people to build skills and effective strategies to make positive decisions and realise their potential. To course will inform students on: • The causes of youth crime • The criminal age of responsibility • Knife crime awareness • What is joint enterprise? • Interventions in place to divert young people away from crime • What is the Youth Offending Service and what do they do? Workshops will include – discussions, practical & physical activities, individual & group work and use of multimedia. Cost: The cost is based on two group workshop per morning or afternoon for 6 weeks and can accommodate small groups or whole class. The workshop is delivered in school at an agreed date and time.

Cancellation Policy

• Making an application does not automatically guarantee a place. Notification will be sent out within two weeks to confirm whether or not an application has been successful. • Cancellations require a minimum of 7 days’ notice, otherwise the full fee will be payable. No refunds can be made for applicants who fail to attend the entire course.
