Social & Emotional Development workshop

Service Description

Course aims: • To engage pupils to explore personal understandings of developing friendships/relationships • To develop social skills and define what they are and how they can be effectively used • To explore emotional literacy skills and introduce a deeper understanding of difference in others Course Content: The skills covered are:- • Positive behaviour, respect for others • Active listening • Focus & Concentration • Self-confidence & self-awareness • Emotional literacy • Empathy Training Delivery: Pupils will engage in group discussions and team building exercises. The focus area will be explored each week with an interactive exercise to encourage a deeper understanding of each topic and consolidate learning outcomes. Cost: The cost is based on two group workshop per morning or afternoon for 6 weeks and can accommodate small groups or whole class. The workshop is delivered in school at an agreed date and time.
